At Falcons Youth and Family Services we are working to create hope and the opportunity for a better world.

We can only do it with your help. Join with us in our mission and donate now.

Our Men in Training program (M.I.T.) and Ladies in Training (L.I.T.) are designed for boys and girls between the ages of 12-17. We developed a series of workshops to empower our boys and girls to become confident, delay immediate gratification, develop a plan for school success and learn effective decision making skills. Our message is simple “society should benefit from your presence and not suffer because of it”.

Southern California Falcons Youth Football & Cheer

Southern California Falcons Youth Football & Cheer Organization

The So. Cal Falcons is a youth football and cheer program plus a lot more. We believe very few people have the amount of social capitol with kids as coaches do; we have built a sports base youth development program design to harness the influence coaches has to obtain positive outcomes off the field as well as on the field of play.

We offer Flag Football ages 5-6, Tackle Football Ages 7 -14 and Cheer Ages 6 – 14
We participate in the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) Youth Football League

Character and Values Development

We believe until we restore values, principals and teaching points passed down from generation to generation the youth in our community will forever be lost.

“Tonight is Not My Turn to Eat”

According to Feeding America's recent ""Map the Meal Gap"" report, 1.5 million people in Los Angeles county don’t have enough funds to buy a sufficient amount of food, making it home to the largest population of food insecure people in the U.S. The report also highlighted even more troubling news for the area’s youngest residents. Los Angeles has the largest population of food-insecure children with one in four kids don’t have enough food to eat.

More about the opening quote.
One of Kooking 4 Kids free meal sites is the Los Angeles LAPD Watts Bears Summer Institute: One day after serving lunch to the students as it is the practice in the Summer Institute, the students leave the classroom and attend PE. Well, one of the Officers left something in class, when he entered the room he was shocked to find a student was in the class room packing up the leftover food and putting it in his backpack. The Officer was upset and begin to lecture the student about his dishonest actions (stealing) and how such behavior could land him in jail, the Officer says the student drop his head and said “Sir I know it is wrong for me take this food, but tonight is not my turn to eat”

The mission of Kooking 4 Kids is to make sure every night is his and others children in need turn to eat. Through a partnership with the State of California Department of Education Nutrition Service our agency provides free healthy, tasty and kid friendly meals throughout Southern California year round. We have our own state of the art mobile kitchen where we prepare supper meals during the school year and breakfast, lunch and supper during the summer months when kids are out of school.

The late Ronald Johnson my former mentor and employer use to say “the planet that you live on, the hemisphere on which we live, the continent, the country, the state, the county, the city, the neighborhood, the block and the house in which you live should be at a distinct advantage just because you are there”.
Our task is to show young people how to translate success on the field to off the field. We recognized that many of our participants lack positive role models in their lives to teach them how to be a positive productive member of society as such we have developed two innovative programs to address these key areas.

School Monitoring

Our School Monitoring program is designed to give us weekly updates on our participants in five different areas; monitoring school progress help ensure better attendance and school grades.
